To Whom It May Concern at No Kidding,

I am a producer for NBC News and am working on a piece that will air next Wednesday on a number of our NBC affiliates across the country. The piece is titled, "Are childfree marriages happier?" I've been looking at various statistics from the U.S. Census Bureau, several studies from sociologists around the United States, and the National Survey of Families and Households.

I'm looking for a voice that supports this view-- ideally, a married couple that I could interview about why and how they came about their decision not to have children, and why they are happy with that choice. If not a couple, then maybe a spokesperson who can speak about the issue. Additionally, I would be looking for any handout video that your group may have that might feature some of the childfree couples in your organization.

I am dealing with budget constraints for this piece, which I can explain in further detail on the phone-- so I would have to limit the interviews to certain locations/cities.

I appreciate you getting back to me at your earliest convenience. I would ideally love to conduct the interview this Monday, March 26th or Tuesday at the very latest, March 27th. I will be editing on Tuesday-- as the piece is scheduled to run as early as Wednesday morning.
